People need options – Dr Siphetfo

-

MBABANE – Vice President (VP) of the unnamed political party formed by Busi Mayisela, Dr Siphetfo Dlamini says the new political party paves way for more options for emaSwati.

Dlamini first confirmed that he was part of the National Executive Committee (NEC) as the VP and said he was grateful to be recognised by the founding members.

He stated that even though people were worried about the ideology and direction this new organisation was going to take, he was convinced that the party was a needed option for the people.

“Options! Options! An organisation founded and based on pure democratic values and principles has that appeal, but above that, a clear ideology and genuine quality leadership that paves a great political pictorial image on what to look forward to as a people. Thus I had to take that stance to unleash and redirect my energy to territories that resemble my political belief system in association, and what an easy decision it was to make. The road to democracy is wide and this new political party paves way for more options for emaSwati as diverse in thinking as they are, they deserve our respect and recognition. Anyone interested is welcome to be part of this new political machinery and together we can succeed,” he said.

Dlamini said he would be bringing maximum cooperation and a highly inclusive work ethic that would focus on the broader democratisation project. He said the new party was going to put the people in the forefront of its democratisation project.

He mentioned that the nation needed to see oneness within the mass democratic movement. He elaborated that he was certain that an emphasis on an inclusive approach would yield much more positive results than the contrary.

National Organising Secretary (NOS) of the party Phephile Ndzinisa, said the new political organisation was not formed out of bitterness towards SWALIMO or any other organisation. She said it was a great option for the people to be educated further and be mobilised to join the struggle for democracy.
