MADLENYA VS ROYAL LEOPARD AT KALANGA TECHNICAL CENTRE, 3PM

M- Madlenya take on faltering defending champions Royal Leopard in what looks set to be tough contest for both sides with the home side having not the same pressure as the visitors.

They have both had their fair share of misfortunes so far when it comes to results. They go to this fixture separated by two points in the standings and both will want to win this clash.

Leopard comes into this match on the back of a much-needed 2-0 win against winless and struggling Manzini Wanderers in a game played at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium.

The Edwin Matsebula-led Leopard are on mid-table, sitting on eighth with seven points out of a possible 18.

While Leopard are struggling, Madlenya started the season on a high note after defeating both Manzini Wanderers and Seven Dreams but now find themselves with one win in their last five games. The rookies have been able to score 13 goals after seven league games.

That makes them one of the most scoring teams so far in the league together with Swallows and Manzini Sea Birds, while the police side have struggled in this area.

Ingwe Mabalabala as Leopard are fondly known, have scored five goals so far this season.

By their quality and standards, this is not a good turnover for them as they are in a quest to defend the title. They have suffered defeats against Green Mamba, impressive rookies Nsingizini Hotspurs. They were recently scarred by league minnows Tambuti.

They are currently behind in as far as the first round incentive race is concerned. The team that finishes at the summit in the first round takes home E100 000.
