MBABANE – Football should be about playing entertaining football and the supporters should enjoy their money’s worth when going to watch MTN Premier League games.

These were the comments made by Mbabane Highlanders assistant Coach Dumsani ‘DU’ Makhanya and Manzini Wanderers gaffer Terisayi Changara. The two were addressing the media in yesterday’s pre-match briefing at Sigwaca House. Wanderers take on struggling Manzini Sea Birds while Mbabane Highlanders face Shiselwenibased side Nsingizini Hotspurs, who desperately need the three points in the bid to catch current log leaders Green Mamba at 31 points.

“We are going into the match with the aim to get the maximum points so we can keep up with Green Mamba who are currently on position one. The team has prepared well for the game and the boys are motivated. We almost have all the players available for the game and the technical team has prepared well for the game,” Makhanya said. He said they respected Nsingizini as a team and were going into tomorrow’s game with the same approach as when they were playing other teams.

“We have prepared ourselves for this one and we are ready to fight on the pitch,” he said.

His counterpart in Gerald Phiri said they were just as ready too.

“The players have been working hard in training and they are ready to go and fight for the team. We know we have not been getting the maximum points, but we urge the supporters to come to the game, we will try our best to get the first maximum points of the year,” he said.

Manzini Wanderers’ Changara conceded that they could not take any chances against Sea Birds just because of their low standing in the log.

“Sea Birds is one of the difficult teams to play in the league, but we have done enough preparation for the game which is very important for us to win. We’re currently in a good run of form and that will be a motivating factor for us,” Changara

said.

Manzini Sea Birds assistant coach Sibusiso Mngometulu said they wanted to win the tie and were confident because Wanderers was their big brother. “We want to win the game and move up in the log standings. Wanderers are our brothers and being the young brothers we are motivated to go up against our big brothers. We will have a lot of fun in the match and supporters should expect fireworks,” he declared.
