CONDOLENCE­S pour in for Mayibongwe

MBABANE – Teams have mourned the passing of Mbabane Swallows President Archbishop Bheki Lukhele’s wife Mayibongwe Mthimkhulu.

Mthimkhulu succumbed to an undisclose­d illness in the past week. Apart from Swallows’ Council of Elders Chairman Absalom Ngwenya, other teams that sent their condolence­s were Mbabane Highlander­s through Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Musa Masuku and Royal Leopard Public Relations Officer (PRO) Frank Hurube.

Ngwenya said Swallows’ elders, senior management team, technical team, players, support staff, supporters committee, supporters and the entire Mbabane Swallows football family express their heartfelt and deepest condolence­s to the President of the club, Bishop Lukhele, following the devastatin­g passing on of his dear wife, Mayibongwe Lukhele.

Unison

“We stand in unison with our dear president at this most painful time and urge the entire local football family to become a place of comfort to our club’s president at this most difficult time,” he said in a statement posted on the club’s Facebook page.

He said they were saddened by the loss and would like to sincere send their condolence­s of comfort to the Lukhele and Mthimkhulu families.

Meanwhile Highlander­s CEO Masuku said on behalf of the Managing Director Ally Kgomongwe and the whole team they wanted to send their deepest and sincere condolence­s to Swallows, mainly their Director Lukhele and his family for the untimely passing on of his wife.

Comfort

“May the Almighty God comfort and heal the broken wounds, as hard as it might be. We hold you close to our thoughts and prayers for God to comfort your family,” said Masuku.

Leopard’s Hurube said they were still devastated by the sad news. He went on to pass their condolence­s to the Swallows family and the entire football fraternity.
