Just let it go

WE are all humans created by one God, why do we do such to each other? Why? It has come to my attention that humans focus on what is not right instead of doing the right thing.

They should be focusing on their dreams, where they’re heading and not trying to depress other people’s lives. Do you know that if a heart comes to a point where it’s broken, the chances of it being mended are very slim? There are things in life that are meant to be ghosted if I can put it like that (in a gangster style) but I hope you get the idea.

What I’m trying to say is that if something doesn’t sit well with you about your partner just leave in peace. There’s one demon I know and that is revenge. Vengeance hurts a lot of people in the name of hate and destroys them to the core. But guys, think about this, if all on earth revenged against those who hurt them, I’m sure we’d all be enemies and kill each other. Then, think if it were for the name of ‘revenge’ some of us would be dead by now. Learn to let go even if it’s not easy. Forgiving someone takes a lot of energy and thinking. Before you forgive, your mind calls up a meeting with the heart and discusses the issue at hand so you see how it’s such a long process.

ATTENTION

Letting go doesn’t mean you have forgiven that certain individual but you decided to not pay attention and move on. I know what I’ve just said is not an easy task to do because this includes the matters of the heart. It is said that the heart goes for what it wants. The same person you loved with all your heart hurts you so much more than a knife can ever do, but there comes a point where you have to let go of all the grudges and move on. I don’t know if here in Eswatini we do have love specialists but I’m sure they would agree with me on this one.

WORK

I once watched a soapie named ‘Till the end of time’. So, let me share with you a bit of what transpired. A lady (Maya) had an obsession with another guy from work (Arjun) and Maya loved Arjun a lot and ended up luring him with her money. There came a time when she decided to outpour her feelings to him. Time went by and they dated and got married, and after marriage, her obsession got stronger such that Arjun learned about her obsession with him. He divorced her and got married to his childhood friend and Maya thought to murder Arjun’s new lady. Her love for Arjun overpowered her and the divorce part really hurt Maya. She decided to stalk them but in the end, she pushed Arjun to kill her and he did. Before she died, she confessed that her love for Arjun was too much for her to control, hence she got Arjun to shoot her with a gun because seeing him married to someone else devastated her and she had to die. It was a sad story. I learned that you should walk away the minute you get hurt.

Don’t wait till it gets all packed up because it’ll kill you one day. Move on with life, there are plenty of fish in the lake. A successful life brings so much peace that you never thought you’d ever have. Such things happen in life but we get up and chase our dreams. Accomplish what you promised yourself when you were young. Let me tell you about what I dreamt of when I was a kid.

IMAGINATION

A beautiful imagination it was! I wanted to be a CEO, sit in my own office, live in a mansion, drive an expensive, luxurious car, and have maids in my fort. That is what keeps me going, my dreams push me every day. You see that it a lot so it requires my full attention, hence I don’t have the time to go around revenging on people who have hurt me. It’s a waste of energy so cut yourself the loss and let go. It’s also vital that you discover your purpose for this generation. Have you ever thought about why you were born at such a time? Why weren’t you born in the 1800s or 1900s? Maybe it’s because you have what this generation needs. Maybe this generation needs more of your skills.
