MBABANE – Coachella fever!

Today is the big day for our very own Uncle Waffles, who will perform at one of the biggest music festivals in the United States of America (USA) and globally.

Born Lungelihle Zwane, Uncle Waffles continues to raise the bar as she is set to grace Coachella Festival, at the Empire Polo Club, with an Amapiano set.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival commonly referred to Coachella Festival, is an annual music and arts festival usually held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert.

The festival will kick-off today until Sunday. It will also be held the following weekend for another three days from April 21 up to April 23.

The event features artists from many genres in music, which includes; Rock, Pop, Indie, Hip Hop and Electronic Dance music, as well as art installations and sculptures. The festival further showcases popular and established musical artists as well as emerging artists. It is one of the largest, most famous, and most profitable music festivals in the USA and globally.

Last Saturday, the local spinner officially released her USA tour dates for this year. The tour has been dubbed USA Tour 2023 Second Times a Charm.

The tour will begin on Friday, where she is slated to perform at the Coachella Festival. It will end on June 17, where she will perform at Summer Fest at Hyde Park in Chicago.
