EWSC to spend over E700k on manholes
MBABANE – Three companies were successfully evaluated for the Eswatini Water Services Corporation (EWSC) construction of manholes tender.
A total of 15 companies showed interest for the tender, which was in four Lots, each representing the four regions of the country. The best evaluated companies enlisted were Ntsika Yetfu Investments; Innovator Investments was enlisted best evaluated for two Lots and The Delean Investments. Their evaluated price totalled to E776 685.19.

This was revealed by the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA) on their website.
According to the procurement regulator, EWSC was looking for a contractor for the supply, installation and commissioning of servers.
The procurement entity for the tender was EWSC, which was approved by the Board’s authority. EWSC requested the unsuccessful bidders to submit an application for review with the agency within 10 working days.
“All tenderers who submitted bids are hereby notified that a period of 10 working days is hereby allowed for submission of any application for review,” said EWSC. It was also mentioned that the tender does not constitute a contract.

This tender is among numerous opportunities presented by EWSC to businesses in procurement, EWSC also issued a tender for the procurement of construction of guardhouses for different sites. The tender was issued on March 15, 2023, and its deadline for expressing interest was last Friday.
EWSC in the tender document said they were allocated funds as part of their budgetary allocation to cover the cost of construction of
guardhouses for different sites and intends to apply part of these funds to cover eligible payments under the contract. In the tender document, EWSC said tenderers for this contract may be a natural person, a private entity, a government-owned entity, or any combination of such entities in the form of a joint venture or association (JVA) under an existing agreement, or with the intent to enter into such an agreement supported by a letter of intent.
