MANZINI - The law enforcer in question claims ignorance of the matter.

When he was contacted yesterday morning, the law enforcer who is accused of hiring people to sell fuel illegally and in containers claimed that he did not know what this publication was talking about. This was after he was told that some community members of Malutha were complaining about his alleged business of selling fuel in containers. He added that he knew nothing about the sale of fuel.

)ew minutes later, he sent a WhatsApp screenshot, which suggested that there was a person who hated him for allegedly breaking her heart and for that reason, threatened to crush his (heart) too. Then, he said this was evidence that there was a person who was trying to destroy him.

After that, this publication clarified to him that this matter was about complaints from the community members, which had also been discussed at the umphakatsi (royal kraal). He then said maybe the community members were still to engage him – if indeed they had mentioned his name. He said he would hear from them. He emphasised that at the moment what he knew were the messages (screenshot) he sent to this publication. Thereafter, he said he had contacted an insider from the royal kraal and she told him that she knew nothing about what this publication was talking about – that the matter had been discussed at the umphakatsi. This publication then raised a concern that he was able to contact his insiders at the royal kraal, but was avoiding the questions which were posed to him. “I have answered you and said I have no idea of what you talking about. I called the insider to find out what is going on,” he said. After that he asked; “Why do you want me to give you the answers you want to hear? Why do you want to make news with my name (sic)?” .

He added that he was not doing anything and claimed that whoever was selling the fuel, was doing it for himself herself. He concluded by claiming that he had no idea why his name featured in this.
