Lozitha Social hosts SA teams

MBABANE – One of the country’s leading social teams, Lozitha, will welcome three social teams from South Africa (SA).

The S’thofeni Ginindza-captained social team usually visits the neighbouri­ng country to play games with some of the SA counterpar­ts annually. This time around it is the local team that will be hosting three teams from SA. This was revealed by the team’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Moya Simelane, who said the games would be played at the Malkerns Country Club.

The games are expected to start at 10am. “We are hosting three social teams from SA, Polokwane, Giyani and Tonga; in other words, this is going to be a four-team tournament including us; the teams are expected to arrive tomorrow (today)” Simelane said.

He assured their supporters that as Lozitha Social Team, they were well prepared for the games as they had been

Meanwhile, another social team from the country, Mpaka, will today leave for SA for a four-team tournament to be held in Middelburg tomorrow. This was confirmed by Mpaka Social Team’s Celucolo ‘Mgee’ Bulunga. “We are invited as Mpaka Social Team for a tournament to be played at Middlelbur­g, South Africa,” Bulunga said.

He said they would use the money they won from the E200 000 Instacash Social Teams Tournament. Part of the money has been used to buy a soccer kit, which they would use in SA as well as to cater for expenses for the trip.

Bulunga further said the games would be played at Tajaard Soccer Field, starting from 10am until in the evening, with the last game billed for 2:30pm before the finals.
