London called, Jo-Ann Strauss answered

-

LONDON - Jo-Ann Strauss is having the time of her life in London ahead of King Charles‘ coronation this weekend at Westminster Abbey.

“Soon… London is calling, and I am answering! It seems all roads literally and figuratively lead to the UK this week with the coronation happening and the launch of Queen Charlotte,” said the former Miss South Africa in her Instagram Reels.

With Ed Sheeran’s Take Me Back to London remix playing in the background, Strauss can be seen in the Reel enjoying herself on the streets on London, inside one of the city’s souvenir stores and also showing that she’ll be staying at The Clermont Hotel.

The much-travelled Strauss was just in the Western Cape’s Philadelphia over the weekend, enjoying traditional farm food on Sunday afternoon, ahead of her trip to the UK. In one of her posts since arriving in England, she can be seen smiling in a photo standing adjacent

King Charles, where she shared that she has been asked to host an event for the English King.

“I truly am so fortunate to travel the world hosting events for incredible organisations, charities, companies and royal families across the world,” she wrote. She quipped with her followers to guess what the King was saying to her in the photo.

“Harry could mos rather have choosed you!” commented comedian Stuart Taylor.

At the time of publishing, the former Miss South Africa didn’t share any more details about the event she was asked to host for the new Monarch.

The royal hype surrounding the coronation in the UK happens simultaneously with the Netflix debut of six episodes of the series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
