Football has imbedded business opportunities and benefits for economic growth.

This sport is a multi-industrial business needing various industries to provide for products and services essential for its governance, administration, competitions, and development.

Through this, football and its organs engages with various businesses, which benefits the business and the large economy of the country.

There are regular weekly business opportunities presented to even the most remote small business people and aspiring business people, who sell their products on match days to earn a livelihood.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Football has the capacity to employ a great number of people towards the execution and successful implementation of its activities. The implementation of football competitions presents employment opportunities for many, whereby people are engaged, contributing to the economic grid of the country.

INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

Infrastructure development is a foundation for the economic development of a country. Football has already made significant investments in this area. EFA has developed Technical Centres in the country; in Lobamba, Nhlangano, KaLanga, the commercial wing at Sigwaca House in Mbabane and is now currently developing another technical centre at Mkhuzweni. Plans are already in place for a technical centre to be developed in the Manzini region.

These infrastructure developments are not only used for sporting activities, but also present an opportunity for revenue generation through being leased out for specific societal activities and needs, thus contributing to economic development.
