Hills of opportunity

9(5< new year we think of our new plans we have for the coming business year. 7he new things we want to do, and we hope to create something new out of the year.

0any are planning brand new businesses, some of us are plan ning brand new business strategies. 6ome plan selling and buying of businesses.

7hen many are discussing new e[ pansions, acquisitions and mergers, throw into the mi[ new contracts and even new partnerships.

We have the dreams and the hopes and e[pectations of a fantastic new year and that is good because we cannot take on a new year if we are already in a bad mental space. We need to be positive we need to be e[ cited, and we need to be ready to go.

MOUNTAINS TO CLIMB

0ountains or the heights that we want to achieve are beautiful to climb and yes, we want to scale those rocks, we want to end up at the highest top and we want to look over the most breath taking views and scenery stating µ

It is not easy to climb a steep, dangerous or even daring mountain without help, without lots of strong ropes and equipment, and you must be familiar with how to climb rock face before you’re even going to try and attempt it.

7hink of doing an (verest or 7able 0ountain, rock face climbing in Ari]ona or Australia" 6o just like myself, if you are feeling like taking on the mountain top this year, then make sure you are trained and have the best team as support.

+ave a backup plan before you take on the big one.

7his I say because while at it, you will go through curvy paths and sev eral waterfalls.

6ome flowing strong and many steady trickles just emerging from beneath the rocks slowly trickling from a rock.

GUSHING WATERFALL

At the bottom way down in the val ley it become a river, feeding many. 6ome become a rapid big gushing waterfall over a mountain cliff and off into a pool of very cold water but still feeding the eco system.

6o If you want to be a trickle or a gushing waterfall think of the end result. )eeding not only you but the greater community.

We need to scan the hills and moun tains for the best opportunities, we think what will be needed to reach the top and from that success comes flowing water for our community and countries.

0ake sure you know where the water is coming from, where the track is for the water to run down and what is on the end of the µpool’ thus be part of your system.

If you want to go plain sailing this year like a small cruiser on a big dam, part of the greater group" 7hat’s also ok.

RICHNESS

5emember water of a dam is very cold but it holds many riches. If you choose to opt for plain sailing, well go for it, use the richness the water supplies.

Be a good business neighbour or supplier or provider.

Don’t deplete the riches many need to come after you. 7each oth ers how to run your business. 7he generation to come. -ust as many love water sports so you can teach many to love the business world. 6o yes, a solid business cliffs or waterfalls or just plain sailing, they all have a main focus, which is that of providing.

DREAMS COME TRUE

)or those who still have not de cided what on earth this year it is that you are aiming for, that’s also ok. -ust engage on a mental trip and envision yourself climbing a mountain and ask yourself these questions, &an I be that one to tackle the mountains"

Do I rather want the waters flow ing" Am I the solid person that can make dreams come true when the wind is blowing the sails" What do I want to achieve"

Am I just going to tackle a small little hill and make it something great and beautiful and then going over to a bigger one, or am I just going to go for the bigger hills this time, am I going to take a partner along" am I going to sell my smaller hill and then go for the bigger one"

Asking yourself these will ques tions will bring you so much per spective and further fuel you to greater heights. 2r maybe there is already a flowing green hill that you are taking on"

/ook at all the things you see around you, look at the business world through a green lens this year. I hope you enjoy the greenery that you will build.

-ust remember the pool water does not have riches in and lounging around it will just be for off days.

0y take is that failure is a sponta neous opportunity to find your feet and try again. 7his world doesn’t need cowards because of our past. We all have ours but have time stopped us" 1o, so it shouldn’t stop you either. We start something, we finish because we ain’t failures. By ignorance, we fail but with optimism we achieve. If you are too ambitious, you can achieve anything. Doc tors can crack the causing disease in the body because they are pas sionate about their work in giving back to the community and making them research illnesses before they knock off to bed. And you call the smart people. It doesn’t take a smart person to become a doctor but an ambitious soul. )ailure shouldn’t stop us from being known. We not doing it for fame but for the name of ourselves.
