- BY PHUMZILE NDLOVU

MANZINI - The Epic Gig team invaded the Lifestyle Centre on Saturday for their third activation of 2023.

During this activation, the Epic Gig team had a stall of merchandise next to one of the stores at the centre. Customers who spent E1 000 or more at the supermarket were awarded with their car being washed by the Epic Gig brand ambassadors. The activations will be held every Saturday until the weekend of the event and the team will visit all parts of the kingdom in the different Tikhundla. According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Epic Gig, Makhosazane Pascua Pelembe, the activations promotes interaction between the event’s team and the customers, which was seen at this activation as customers were engaged about the upcoming event, which will be held at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on June 30- July 2, this year.

Customers were also treated to different games, which included; the famous flip the bottle, pop the balloon and ping pong. The Epic Gig freshmen also gave out exceptional performances, giving the crowd a taste of what they would be doing on the Epic Gig stage and it was their first performance of many more to come.

“Epic Gig is still calling out for young business entrepreneurs in the kingdom to contact them for an opportunity to exhibit their work during the course of the festival, but also for them to be part of these activations, which will give them a lot of exposure, before the actual festival. The call out is for all business entrepreneurs in the Arts Sector, from arts and crafts and other businesses in the same field can contact Epic Gig team on +268 7625 6594 or email theepicgigssd@ gmail,” said the PRO. She went on to say that last week they unveiled the freshmen, which is a concept that was created and brought to life by Epic Gig. “Its main role is to empower and give young and upcoming artists the platform to showcase their skills in poetry, and all the other forms of music and they are paid for the work that they do.
