DJ Zinhle, Pearl reunite for birthday
JOHANNESBURG - Pearl Thusi has been in the US for the past couple of months.
As reported when she took to Twitter to share her intra-continental excursions: Pearl Thusi has been travelling a lot this past couple of months. Initially starting her travels in the US, specifically Los Angeles. The Queen Sono lead then travelled to Nigeria, India, then Brazil and again travelled back to Los Angeles. While travelling, Pearl did not fail to make headlines in South Africa.
However, it seems that in light of her 35th birthday, Thusi made sure she was home to celebrate the special day with all of her loved ones.
The sisterhood between DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi has been one that has been followed with a lot of speculation. This is as in the years since they formed their friendship allegedly on the back of the mutual dislike for fellow media personality Bonang Matheba, there has been speculation of the end and rekindling of their friendship.
However, it seems that in 2023, their friendship is closer and stronger than ever. This is as DJ Zinhle enjoyed her 39th birthday with Pearl in Cape Town.
As such, it seems that DJ ZInhle returned the favour this time around. This is as she not only helped Pearl get ready for the pre-birthday celebrations on Friday, May 12, 2023. But Zinhle was also part of the party which ushered Pearl into her 35th year when the clock struck 12.
However, one person that was not there nor has gone on social media to wish the star a happy birthday is rumoured boyfriend and fellow ZAlebs, Anatii. This is as in the past Pearl had seemingly confirmed dating him as it was reported then:

LOS ANGELES - Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were caught having yet another tense exchange in public, further fuelling speculation that there could be trouble in paradise, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The couple, who have been married for less than a year, were driving in Beverly Hills earlier this month when they stopped at a red light and engaged in a heated conversation.
Photos taken by a European tourist and obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com show visibly frustrated Ben (50), who was behind the wheel, talking to Jennifer as she sat in the passenger seat of his Rivian electric SUV, with the windows rolled down.
It is clear the two were arguing about something, with a very animated Ben seen waving his hands up and down as they hung out the window. In fact, the pair seemed so engrossed in conversation, they didn’t seem to be aware of anyone whoo could have been watching or overhearing nearby.
Jennifer, however, appeared more reserved and quiet as her husband on her love life thereafter, Thusi vowed that she would not make her subsequent relationships public. At the time, she had stated that the reason she was not public about her relationships anymore was due to is’dima as her family would see headlines and stories about her relationships and subsequent breakups. But that does not mean that Thusi has done a great job of keeping the matter of her dating and love life private. The tourist, who witnessed the exchange after pulling up next to their car, told DailyMail.com that it seemed ‘pretty clear’ by his body language that Ben ‘was frustrated or irritated’ while Jennifer appeared ‘timid.’
‘There were a lot of hand gestures, Ben was waving his hands up and down and it looked heated,’ she said.
‘J.Lo looked a little bit sad. They were so deep in conversation that they didn’t even look to the side once. They only looked at each other and the traffic light. ‘It clearly looks heated on his end, a discussion or argument. There were no other cars or people on the street,’ the source added.
The photos come just a day after a video of an apparently frustrated Affleck slamming the passenger door of his car after Jennifer got into the vehicle went viral on social media.
The recent terse public exchanges between the two have led social media detectives to claim he must be ‘miserable’ in their marriage.
