TAMBANKULU – Bongwa ‘Owa’ Matsebula’s hat-trick was enough to earn Young Buffaloes the league’s second spot, at Tambankulu Stadium yesterday.

The army side hammered relegated Tambankulu Callies 4-0 to complete the league’s unbeaten run, but it was not enough to earn them their third title after log leaders Green Mamba beat Royal Leopard 2-1 in a simultaneo­us fixture yesterday.

The army side finished second, three points adrift of champions. They are guaranteed of a E500 000 runners-up prize and might be the country’s envoys of the Confederat­ion of African Football (CAF).
