Nduma Ndumane singer and songwriter Sarnilo, who borrows from her Malawian mother-language Chichewa, to tell the story of idealistic young love juxtaposed with reality. Her smooth vocals complement the Afro-infused beat, glaring lead-guitar, captivating synths, with Sibu Manzini on production. The single was released to critical acclaim, leading to Apple Music selecting it as Song of the Week, a week after its release.

MP The General comes through with a bass-heavy Hip Hop record titled Legendary, off his latest album El’Gabhadiya, on third, with Sibu Manzini’s Hangover, which features the kingdom’s very own vocal beacon Velemseni moving to fourth while Vuka by Lution completes the top five.

Missing

Three new entries debuted on the show and they include the piano-infused Nduma Ndumane by MaWhoo, featuring DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small and De Muziqal Chef, Does Heaven Even Knows You Are Missing by Nickelback and local female rapper Oriiginelle’s remix of her own hit single A Thou’nyana, which features a combination of Swati and South African rappers in Grixxly, Milkee, P Dot O, and Nino Fresco. Another noteworthy inclusion in the charts was Country music sensation Cleopatra Methula, who comes through with a relatively new single, which climbed some eight up to 10 position, after having debuted a 18 spot a week earlier.

This comes hot on the heels of her sold out live recording which took place at the Theatre Club recently, with the world stage already beckoning for the supremely talented songstress. The Top 20 Chart Show airs weekly on EBIS 2 FM, anchored by the duo of Bongani ‘BoBo’ Dlamini, and DJ Tizalami.
