MBABANE- It will be one interesting match to watch.

That is if all the players who are expected in the battle of the ‘kasis’ game show up for this eagerly-anticipated encounter.

According to a poster, which has been circulating on social media, Cape Town All Stars’ Justice Figuareido will headline the tournament. He will be among players to watch during this tournament.

Other elite league players expected to feature in this ‘stokvel’ tournament are Mbabane Swallows’ Neliswa ‘Tiger’ Dlamini, Banele ‘Pupu’ Sikhondze, Kwakhe Tfwala and Green Mamba’s Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu.

Others are Manzini Wanderers’ duo of goalkeeper Bongiswa ‘Romario’ Dlamini and Wanderers Captain Mlamuli ‘Mlaba’ Nkambule.

Kick-off

The match between team Ludzeludze and Mbabane will be played this afternoon at Ludzeludze Sports Ground. Kick-off time is 2pm.

One of the organisers, Zombodze Dlamini, confirmed that elite league stars will feature in the tournament. “I cannot reveal names but I can assure you that it will feature some elite league stars,” said Dlamini.

However, three of the players who did not want to be mentioned confirmed that they would be playing. They said since it was off-season they had nothing to do.

They said they would use these stokvel games as part of training. Figuareido confirmed that he would feature in the tournament.

Worth mentioning is that the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) is against players partaking in ‘stokvel’ tournaments. Even teams are strongly against that, as they believe that once players get injured, it becomes their expense.
