MBABANE - Abaphile Foundation has launched a seven-a-side football tournament that aims to promote agricultur­e.

It will be played on July 1, 2023 at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium.

The name of the tournament is ‘Yith’ Abantu’ Football tournament.

It is expected to attract a majority of people, particular­ly youngsters due to the axiomatic fact that the theme of the project says: ‘Making agricultur­e attractive to the youth.’

Showcasing

The tournament also provides a step forward to regional soccer players in presenting or showcasing their incredible talents.

This would play an imperative role in the lives of the football stars because their talents would be exposed to interested football teams that can sign them.
