MBABANE – Ezulwini United Assistant Coach Julias Chakapewu has warned Mbabane Highlanders against thinking they would complete a double over them. The coach said this during the pre-match briefings organised by the Premier League of Eswatini at Sigwaca House yesterday. The ‘Stingers’ suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of the black and white capital city giants in their first round fixture.

“We lost against Highlanders in the first round and this time around, we shall do justice to ourselves and supporters by winning,” Chakapewu said.

He said they were not in a good position on the standings and they wanted to turn the corner at the expense of Inkunzi Emnyama. He also invited their supporters to witness their team ‘castrating’ the ‘Bull’.

Meanwhile, Highlanders Assistant Coach Siyabonga Bhembe, said they were more than ready for the game, though it was not going to be an easy one.

“We are ready for the match against Ezulwini United, we have good players who have been training all along and are ready to deliver good results. We have planned for Ezulwini and we will play according to the plan,” Bhembe said.

“Even though we will be without our midfielder Mpendulo Tfomo, we still have a number of good players who will cover up his space as he has been suspended,” he added.

He further mentioned that they had a number of players who will be joining them.

“We will have new players who will join the club soon the likes of Machawe ‘Mbhodze’ former Vovovo goalkeeper, Thabiso Ngwenya from Nyalinyali Classic and Mthunzi from Denver Sundowns (sic).”
