MBABANE – MTN Premier League log leaders Royal Leopard have significantly strengthened their attacking prowess with the acquisition of talented Ghana-born striker Felix Hunusugbo.
Felix, who joins Leopard on a sixmonth deal with an option to renew at the end of the season, previously showcased his skills at CSKA DUSHANBE FC (now known as GI CSKA FC) in Central Asia, where he scored nine goals in a single season.
His agent, Seth Kwabena Yeboah, has revealed that the purpose of bringing Felix to Leopard is to keep him active before finalising a potential deal for him to play in Bulgaria. Leopard believed that a pool of exceptional strikers upfront was necessary, and they remained optimistic that the addition of the Ghanaian striker would address their needs.
Felix made his debut for Leopard, coming on as a substitute in their thrilling 4-2 victory over Manzini Wanderers at Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday.
