SITEKI – A start of big things.

The landscape in the entertainment industry in Siteki is on the verge of changing this year, with the massive E600 000 renovations taking place at The White House Inn, which will accommodate outdoor, private functions and family events.

According to the new owner of the establishment, businessman Vusi Ndzabandzaba, he has a vision to change the face of the entertainment space in the fast-growing town by bringing an accommodative environment and atmosphere to entertain.

He said the establishment had the potential to host big names in the entertainment industry both locally and internationally.

Elections

Ndzabandzaba, who lost in the last phase of the national general elections to Matsanjeni North Inkhundla Member of Parliament (MP) Phila Buthelezi, said the town has the potential to lure and host mega events that could see the country’s neighbouring towns of Durban and Maputo citizens cascading in numbers to witness the beauty of Eswatini.

The establishment is situated a few metres from the Siteki Bus Rank and a stone’s throw away from the Siteki Town Council offices, boasting of an open area that can host weddings and thanksgiving events, including birthday parties and shows with disc jockeys (DJs).

The businessman shared that it has been his dream to develop and improve the entertainment industry in this town.

“Finally, people of Siteki and surrounding areas will have a place they can call their own, even those who will come from faraway places, would be warmly welcomed.

“The establishment is open to all people from all walks of life, including those who will be looking for an entertainment unit that will be private due to their status in society. Families will also be able to host outdoor events like birthday parties and weddings.

“I am optimistic that the nation, including corporate partners, will support the establishment through hosting their end-of-year-events and parties,” he said.

The only place that suits and is of the standard of this establishment is the Siteki Hotel which has a swimming pool and an outdoor camping area that enables children and families to relax while enjoying the warm weather of the Lubombo Region.

Relax

Currently, the structure is being renovated with repainting, landscaping to ensure that families while their children enjoy swimming in the pool, they cool relax under the camping umbrella while enjoying their soft drinks.

The structure has a private lounge, an open bar with an open area to relax, two swimming pools for both children and adults as well as change rooms with a bottle store and a butchery house.

The businessman has also completed the construction of a guardhouse to ensure the safety of visitors and events to be hosted effectively before the end of this month.
