Ex-acting Lubombo RS wins Build It car
SITEKI – Former acting Lubombo Regional Secretary (RS) Nozizwe Masuku got the best retirement gift yesterday when she was announced the winner of the Build It stores’ ‘Win A Car Competition’ under the Siteki Branch. Masuku retired last year.
Handing over the keys of the Nissan NP 200 utility van was the stores’ General Manager (GM) Hynd Nkosinathi Simelane, in the company of the Siteki Branch Manager Thandeka Dlamini.
Also present to congratulate Masuku was her brother Sibusiso, Thembi Gule and Faith Gule, together with the store’s staff members.
To qualify for the competition, customers were required to buy building material valued at over E1 000.
The competition started last October.
Last year’s winner, Thulani Maziya, also graced the event and congratulated Masuku for being the eventual winner. Maziya and Masuku drove their cars around the Siteki town, showcasing the vehicles to members of the public.
Siteki Build It store Branch Manager Dlamini expressed her happiness that this year’s winner was a woman. She urged emaSwati to continue buying building material from their shop and participate in the competition to increase their chances of winning this fabulous prize.
“We are honoured to officially hand over the car to the winner. I would like to thank all our customers who participated in the competition and urge them to continue doing so even this year,” she said.
The competition this year will start in October. The GM, Simelane, congratulated the winner and urged emaSwati to continue supporting Build It stores, as they sold quality products.
Simelane further urged Masuku to take good care of the car.
The GM said Build It stores were committed to serve emaSwati in the communities they were in.
“It is gratifying to see a woman winning this year. We encourage more women to participate by entering the competition this year. We are grateful that the competition went well and thank the support from emaSwati in buying building material at their best shop in Eswatini,” he said.
