MBABANE – Green Mamba gaffer Ernest Mavuso is not concerned about the psychological aspect of his players ahead of the quarter-finals match against the unpredictable Nsingizini Hotspurs.

This match is penned for the Mayaluka Stadium today. The former Mbabane Highlanders coach was responding to questions on how they were dealing with the mentality of the players after going five games without a win. This was during the Ing

“Fortunately for us at Green Mamba, we are a big institution and we get help from all the wings of the department. We have worked on that aspect and the players are ready for the game,” Mavuso said.

Preparations

Coming to the preparations of the match against Insingizi Yezulu, the former Moneni Pirates mentor said inasmuch as they respected the opponents as an organised side, they were well prepared to send them packing from the prestigious tournament in the land. He said as defending champions, they could not afford to lose to the Shiselweni-based side.

“It is a must for us to defend the title, it is unfortunate that we share the same colours, but Green Mamba must progress,” he said.

Meanwhile, his counterpart at the Derrick Shiba-owned side, mentor Alexio Sergion said even though Inyoka Eluhlazane were a big team, they were ready to deliver the results. “We are also a strong side too, I must say our preparations are going well and we are ready for the game,” Sergion said.
