Highlights from industry
THIS column serves as an update on what is unfolding in the local industry. If you are looking to be kept abreast, you might want to read this brief update.
Top of the list we have award-winning musician Young Zesh, who is set to release the second single from his second upcoming album titled ‘Lwandiso’. The song is titled ‘Ungangikhaleli’ and was produced by Liz Harris, mixed and mastered by Sean Cast HQ.
According to Young Zesh, in this song he is acknowledging the presence of numerous adversaries in his life.
He emphasises that even though he faced multiple enemies, including those who doubt his talent, he doesn’t want anyone to shed tears for him. This sentiment reflects his resilience and determination to succeed in the face of adversity.
We would also like to highlight South African musicians Lemon and Herb, who will be visiting the country on February 25.
They will be performing live at Sundeck in Manzini, courtesy of the ‘Corona Experience’ show and currently, only Trend Twins have been announced that they will get to share the stage with them.
Worth mentioning is the fact that the musicians came into the kingdom last year on December 24 where they were expected to thrill patrons during the Lubombo Musik
Festivita.

However, due to intense rainfall and bad weather that struck KaLanga Technical Centre, the musicians could not perform since the show was called off.
So if you are looking to see these musicians perform, you might want to catch them at Sundeck.
Lastly, aspiring Gospel musicians are in for a treat today, especially those who are in Manzini.
The Rising Star Talent Search will be coming to them today at Manzini Arts Centre.
