Model Siphesihle’s shower playlist

- BY MXOLISI DLAMINI

THIS week I am pleased to present to you international model and Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) model Siphesihle ‘Sphe’ Mthethwa’s shower playlist.

This is basically the songs that the model jams to when taking a bath. I hope you will be able to spot some of the vibrant tracks which you may use to update your personal playlist.

Linda Dlamini - Yebo kunamandla okuphila elwimini

lwakho: I believe that the tongue has power to make or destroy, we are given the power to speak whatever we want in our lives and we use the tongue to destroy ourselves by speaking negatively, the day I changed the way I used my tongue over my life I began to walk in blessings after blessings.

Joyous Celebration - Mthembe njalo: I am a very spiritual person, every time I sing this one I am reminded that God is faithful, he never changes, he’s promises are yes and amen, what he said he will do he surely does.

Khaya Mthethwa - Mkhulu

msebenzi: You know when God finally answers your prayers, opens doors to more opportunities, I sing this one every time I see the works of his hands; ‘Sengiyabona ukuthi sonkhe lesikhatsi kanthi ububhizi ngaphakathi kwami ngigcwele ukungazi ngomusa wakho nesineke sakho njalo mengibheka

isenzo sami namaphutha ami mkhulu msebenzi’, so as a runway model I have graced ramps in countries like Mozambique two times and South Africa, and having a supportive family impela Simakadze mikhulu imisebenzi yakhe.

SebastianBattle

Sebastian’s song whenever I sing it, it explains my inner scars, whenever I’m feeling down this one here uplifts my mood it actually speaks to one’s soul.” These battle scars don’t look like there are gonna fade.”

Rihanna:

Te amo in English means “I love you “.

These are the three words that are not easy to say but hard to believe and accept.

Lana Del Rey - Radio: I love the part where it says; “Print it into black and white pages, don’t faze me before you talk, let me stop what you are saying, I know, I know, I know that you hate me now, my life is sweet like cinnamon, like a dream I’m living in baby love me cause I’m playing on the radio, so how do you like me now, so despite all the hate in this world you just have to do what makes you happy just live your life.

Sjava - Linda: Whenever I think of giving up I sing Sjava’s song ‘Linda’ because it says be patient, you should not rush yourself and move at your own pace, mind your own business and do you, all in good time things will change from how they have been. I applaud Sjava for that.

De Mthuda ft Sir Thrill- John

Wick: Give me this jam at anytime, this is one of my favourite Amapiano tracks, it goes like ‘ngeke balunge noma bangeza bebaningi slokhu sthule sibhekile awu ngeke ni weak, seven days ngeviki selijikile iviki’.
