Ezulwini Wedding Expo registration still open
EZULWINI – Exhibition vendors for next month’s Ezulwini Wedding Expo 2024 are registering early to secure prominent spaces and other great benefits.
The Ezulwini Municipality announced that the Wedding Expo will be held on March 16, 2024, at Sharma House.
With the event a month away, the municipality is now encouraging other potential vendors to take advantage of the early registration benefits for the booths. The 1.5mx1.5m booth is E300, while the 3mx3m booth is E500.
One of the early birds is Bakers Corner in Matsapha. Xolile Shabangu from Bakers Corner said they were thrilled with the opportunity to participate in the Ezulwini Wedding Expo. She said, “We are excited about this wonderful opportunity because we are about all things wedding, baking wedding cakes and other delicious goodies is what we do best. We love coming up with new and innovative ways to bake and style our cakes.” She added that they also do venue decoration and were looking forward to sharing their ideas and making prospective brides’ dream wedding cakes.
Isabella Gilbert, a luxury interior designer and sophistication aficionado, expressed her excitement about the upcoming expo. “I would really like to thank the Ezulwini Municipality for this innovative idea. This highlights how important a wedding expo is, as it is not only for local creatives, but also for all those who will be planning their wedding and those who will be supporting them.
We all know weddings are a big deal and the amount of work and financial outlay that goes into it, so such an expo helps in the planning,” she said.
Gilbert added that the wedding expo would give local creatives a superb opportunity to showcase their varied skills and talents at a beautiful venue such as Sharma Guest House in Ezulwini.
According to the organisers, attending the expo has many advantages for visitors and exhibitors. At bridal expos, vendors typically create display areas showcasing the hippest and most happening floral, cake, decor and wedding dress trends so that you can see how they look in person.
The Ezulwini Municipal Council, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mathokoza Shongwe, said this would be the case with the upcoming expo. “We want to create a space where the exhibitors will also be able to network with service providers within their value chain. This expo, therefore, has horizontal benefits for all, from the visitors to the exhibitors. For example, an event planner can meet with a décor provider and an entertainment stable and work partnerships for upcoming events,” he said.
Shongwe added that participants can fill in the application form, which can be obtained from the municipal website under publications, then key documents publications or requested via email at nompilon@ezulwini. co.sz. Send the filled-in application form then pay the exhibition fee after getting approval from the office.
