Cities Parkrun
Runners will join the Mbabane Parkrun for a fun and healthy 5km race. The race will start at Albert Millin at 8am and follow the scenic trails of the Mbabane Golf Course during its 253rd edition. Meanwhile, the Manzini Parkrun will also begin at 8am at the Manzini Golf Course and offer a similar challenge and enjoyment during its 80th edition.
SBS Netball League
Eswatini National Netball Association (ENNA) is set to resume the action of the elite teams’ league tomorrow. The women’s and men’s teams under the sponsorship of the Swaziland Building Society (SBS) will play at OlympAfrica Centre at Lobamba, scheduled to start at 8am. Headlining the second round opener games are the Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force and Correctional derbies.
Tennis Juniors Tourney
The Eswatini National Tennis Association (ENTA) will stage a juniors tournament at Mhlume Country Club. It will feature boys and girls Under-12 and under-16. It will commence at 8am.
Ingwenyama Cup Cultural Competitions
Ingwenyama Cup cultural thrills are set to fire up the Shiselweni and Manzini regions, this weekend. The tournament heads south tomorrow for the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, while it will on Sunday be held at Mavuso Sports Centre.
ECA Road Awareness Ride
The Eswatini Cycling Association is set to host the highly-anticipated Road Awareness Ride tomorrow at 6:30am.The ride will commence at the Corner Plaza in Ezulwini. With a focus on the ‘stay wider of the rider’ campaign, the event aims to underscore the importance of safe road practices and mutual respect between cyclists and drivers.
Kyokushin grading
The Oyama Kyokushin Karate of Swaziland (OKKS) will tomorrow have a grading of its learners from white belts to green. The grading will be held at the Mbuluzi High School, commencing at 8am. The karatekas set to be graded are along the Mbabane corridor, specifically from St Francis, John Wesley, Ka-Boyce, MDS Primary and St Mark’s.
Angling
The Eswatini Angling Association (EAA) will have its national championships at Maguga Dam tomorrow. Anglers will search for the Carp, Kurper, Babel, Eels, Yellow Fish, and Bass species, which make Maguga an angler’s paradise. It all sets to begin at 9am, running until Sunday where there would also be the national team selection.
