Your path will consume you

-

Iget emotional just thinking about the strength I needed just to bring this to our reality. We somewhat lose a sense of justice yet God has not.

We think about what others have done to us maybe over a period of time and what they continue to do and the injustice they inflict on the powerless.

The pain they cause, without remorse. Even though it may be hard to find comfort in knowing that the Lord is always present in every circumstance, and in also knowing that He brings comfort, but we must be conscious that he takes no pleasure in wickedness. And that his judgment can be likened to a prison without walls.

He is always in control. In search for our paths, we have been met by resistance yet that kind of excavation is a mission to mine for something of significance not for answers to a present situation, but for a solution that will pave a way forward. When all is said and done, we still aspire for a fresh breath of newness, regardless of the challenges we have encountered.

The path calls, it is meant to be journeyed purposefully and maybe we are tired of thinking that solutions will come from the same pit mine we have been burrowing for the past so many years.

When we look for a way forward, it means all of our human efforts or limited intelligence has reached the ceiling so we either await divinity or we will be caused to stumble on solutions that were pillared from ancient times. Truth is always revealed.

We need to accept that our paths will never stop calling. What bothers you will always bother you until you respond. I guess it’s my way of saying, never give up. Your path will consume you. It won’t stop calling you. Some of us are exhausted emotionally, physically and the core of our being is crying out for peace and rest this season.

We are exacerbated by the opinions of others. The path that one must ultimately travel on can only be ascertained by the one who created him. When the heat is intense, we need to call on Him.

ELUCIDATIONS

There is a lot of alarming têteà-têtes on the elucidations that must be provided for the year and the ten years ahead. We write this, not so that we can be relevant, but that some of the revelations can provide varying perspectives as we journey forward.

It’s not a secret that some pathways are revealed even to those that thought knew much. When they require of it, it will emerge even when they have not gone excavating for answers, they stumble upon them.

Nehemiah in his time of despair and grieve about the ruins of the temple of Jerusalem in Nehemiah 2 that had lay as heaps of ruins in Jerusalem, had an inclination to pray to His God about his people in exile and also about the temple. Seventy years had passed since their captivity and he stumbled upon a resolution that would change his life and the lives of his exiled nation over a conversation he had with those who had journeyed there.

Overtime I have learnt that resolves that pertains to the welfare and well-being of others if coupled with sincerity and genuineness win the heart of the Lord.

Whenever we stumble upon pathways that were laid before time, it is knowledge that carries consuming fire. One way or the other it will cause a ripple effect towards the future, some knowledge that connects to something that was said before. It will be like walking on and stepping on words that come alive and guide us to the direction we should take.

When we stumble upon these we often find that the Lord had even provided for the resolutions that must be followed and His support, provision and protection is guaranteed.

I used to be criticised a lot for advising others to wait for solutions. Because I believed that clarifications often comes to you. Until one of my best friends told me that the Lord never stops working on a situation even after you have released it. He works on those who remained in it.

The Lord brings this orchestration that we may stagger upon the clarifications and understanding of situations and find healing of our souls. Humanity in general dislikes waiting. We prefer to dig for explanations, even in the most unwanted places. Sometimes we want to know the whys in places where we might even receive a spear.

One of my favourite pastors is well-known for his work emanating from his series ‘ancient paths’ also wrote a book on his revelations of ancient paths. He also powerfully displays the dichotomical way in which human beings converse and interprete meanings in words that are conveyed by others.

His focus was specifically on relational conversations. He specifically made a clear distinction between what is said and is heard. In numerous occasions he has taught that when we have a conversation we can say one thing and be heard, differently.

One of these for instance is a conversation between a man and a woman. When the, say the Lord will carry you or when they say he will never leave you nor forsake you. What do you hear? It’s important to hear for your path and it’s important to stick to your own path. Let me assure that there is enough fire for you, I mean the consuming fire.
