3 TIPS FOR GAINING MUSCLE Building muscle requires a combination of proper training, nutrition, and lifestyle choices. Here are three tips to help you on your journey to gaining muscle:
1. Train with intensity: To stimulate muscle growth, it’s important to challenge your muscles with resistance training. Focus on compound exercises that target multiple muscle groups, such as squats, deadlifts, and bench presses. Aim for a combination of heavy weights and moderate to high repetitions to maximise muscle growth.
2. Eat a calorie surplus: To build muscle, you need to consume more calories than you burn. Aim for a calorie surplus of 300-500 calories per day above your baseline needs. This provides your body with the energy it needs for muscle growth. Additionally, make sure to consume enough protein, as it is essential for muscle repair and growth. Aim for 0.25 to 0.30 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per meal.
3. Prioritise recovery: Adequate rest and recovery are crucial for muscle growth. Make sure to get enough sleep, as it plays a vital role in muscle repair and growth. Additionally, allow your muscles time to recover between workouts by incorporating rest days into your training routine. Remember, building muscle takes time and consistency. It’s important to have a well-rounded approach that includes proper training, nutrition, and recovery.
sure to incorporate rest days into my routine, to allow my body to recover. Additionally, I manage hunger by ensuring I eat sufficient meals throughout the day.”
How has your life improved so far, and how do you impact the people, especially ladies, in your circle or community?
“My life has improved significantly since overcoming my drug addiction problem. As for the impact on others, I have noticed that people, especially ladies, are inspired by my transformation and dedication. It serves as a motivation for them to pursue their own fitness goals.”
What are your weight and fitness goals, given a certain time frame? How hard or easy will it be to achieve them?
“My goal is to become the best bodybuilder in the next two years. I am well aware that achieving this goal will require intense training and unwavering dedication, given the level of competition among bodybuilders.”
What advice can you share with other people who face weight challenges, but lack the courage to start exercising and make it a lifestyle?
“My advice would be to start today and take that first step towards a healthier lifestyle. Once you notice the positive changes in your body and mindset, it will motivate you to continue. Share your journey with close friends and family, and soon enough, the world will recognise your capabilities.”
What is your motivational slogan?
“All weights are light weight!!” This motto serves as a reminder that with determination and perseverance, no challenge is insurmountable.
