MANKAYANE – Ngwempisi Member of Parliament (MP) Bhekibandla Vilakati is full of praise for the Mankayane Town Board’s plans to build a new 30 000-seater stadium in the area.
The legislator, who is also one of the Jericho Church leaders, confirmed to have met the Board to discuss the plans of constructing the stadium valued at E4 billion. He did not hide his excitement that Mankayane will, in the not-so-distant future, have a stadium that will change the face of the town and provide development initiatives.
“This is no doubt going to be a huge project that will change Mankayane. :e are very happy with the plan to build this stadium and we are fully behind the town board,” Vilakati said.
He said this was one of the projects they would definitely be sharing with His Majesty King Mswati III during his birthday celebration to be held in Mankayane later next month (April 19).

EFA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederick Mngomezulu confirmed that they were engaged by the Mankayane Town Board on the plans to build the stadium.
He made no secret of the fact that they were excited at the prospects of this project by the town board. but the new stadium definitely stands out. It will definitely top the agenda of our discussions with the King. :e are keeping our fingers crossed that we get the opportunity to share the business ideas with the King,” he said.
