³The Office of the Master, as far as , understand it, is not a family clinic or as yet a facility where issues politics are resolved (kandabazabantu). ,t is my personal opinion that a great amount of time, money and grief could have been saved if we could have simply listened, at the very least, presented ourselves as a united family,” Themba said.

Themba concluded his address before the commission by saying ³)inally, since , have stated that , am not here to critique the Office of the Master, , shall have no problem receiving in full, with both hands, what we all agreed upon as a family in the Office of the Master and in her presence.”

Meanwhile, Themba’s elder brother, Roger Maziya, previously appeared before the commission and submitted that the master and executor authorised the sale of his late father’s farms, which he intended to keep and preserve as they contained the family graves. He took the matter to the High Court and the matter is pending.

Roger said his father died on 'ecember

, and his death was reported at the Master’s Office. He said his brother, /awyer Elvis Maziya, was appointed the executor. He said later, Elvis was removed and Thwala Manene was appointed as the executor. According to Roger, his father had two wives and six children.

He said his father had five or six farms in Siteki, among other properties, such as cars, cattle and rental flats.

Each beneficiary, according to Roger, was entitled to E . million in the estate.

CHOOSE

He said the beneficiaries were supposed to choose what they wanted to take in the property. He told the commission that he came back to Eswatini, since he was residing in Johannesburg, because he did not want the farms to be sold as, on them, there were the family graves.

On inspecting the farms, according to Roger, he found that there was cultivation taking place on one of them. He said he enquired from the family, specifically Make 1khosi one of /eo’s wives , about the cultivation on the farm.

³They said they were not aware of it. , went to Thwala. He said it would be taken care of and , shouldn’t worry. He didn’t appear surprised. , went to inspect the inventory, to see if all the assets were listed. , discovered that one farm was not included in the inventory. , told Manene about it. He said it was a mistake to omit it and , had no problem with it. , later learnt that it was the man 'r Jonathan 3ons , who had farms next to ours, who was cultivating on the farm,” alleged Roger.

According to Roger, 3ons approached him on the farm and he said he told him that he wanted to purchase the farms. Roger said he directed him to the executor, Thwala.
