MBABANE – House Musiq Fest (HMF) has partnered with the South African music channel Trace.

Trace is a music channel and the voice of African artists, with the best music videos from all the beloved African music genres, including Afro-pop, Coupé-décalé, Kwaito-house, and Afro-trap, to name a few. It focuses on music and culture by showcasing concerts and features related to African artists. It is a reputable music channel that will now showcase the after-movie of the upcoming festival as well as air adverts of the festival.

This was revealed by Swaziboy Entertainm­ent Public Relations Officer (PRO) Nokwanda Sibandze, who also shared that the channel will be visiting the kingdom on the day of the festival, which is March 30.

“Exciting times are ahead for the biggest House music festival in the land, as we have partnered with Trace.

“This is an airtime-based partnershi­p where the adverts will be played on two of their channels, Trace Southern Africa and Trace Urban. “The second part is that after the festivals, the movie will be aired on those channels. The channel will also join us on March 30 to cover the entire event,” Sibandze said.

Growth

When asked what the partnershi­p means for the festival, Sibandze shared that it means growth. “For us, this means growth.

“We are excited for the next few years, and we hope that more partnershi­ps and sponsors will jump on board.

“We cannot wait to host everyone who will join us month end and urge everyone to take a chance and join us for the Easter weekend,” she said.

HMF is an annual House music show that is about giving patrons a memorable House music experience. Last year, the show was hosted at the Manzini Club and headlined by famed South African musicians such as DJ Zinhle, Oskido, Oscar Mbo, Chronical Deep, and Dustinho, to name a few.

This year the show will be going back to Manzini Club on March 30, and some of the artists who have been revealed so far include SA producer and musician Vinny Da Vinci, !Sooks, Monique Bingham, Artwork Sounds, Darque, as well as Le Soul, to name a few.

HMF recently held two activation­s, one in Maputo, Mozambique and the other in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. The team was excited to invite people to come join them at the 5th edition of the warmest festival in the kingdom. Both activation­s were successful.
