NHLANGANO - Shiselweni II Indvuna yeNkhundla Lucas Nzima has encouraged Mathendele youth to visit the constituency centre.

This was during a thanksgiving ceremony held at Mathendele Location on Saturday. Shiselweni II Member of Parliament Bhekithemba Bhembe, Bucopho Magugu Hlatjwako and Nzima hosted the event to appreciate the residents for electing them.

Also present was Zombodze Emuva MP Ntando Mkhonta, Shiselweni Regional MP Lindiwe Mamba and other tindvuna tetinkhundla, among others.

Nzima, when making his remarks, stated that there were many projects the youth could apply for and benefit from.

He also shared that they would discuss other entities the youth could approach to start businesses.

He stated that they would also call meetings and pleaded with the youth to attend. MP Bhembe said he was impressed with the unity in the constituency council, which made it easy to do the work. He stated that the council was at their service and they were supposed to work with them.

Regional MP Mamba said she was willing to work with all the MPs in the region as long as they invited them. Mamba had initially joined the race for indvuna yenkhundla under Shiselweni II and later joined the regional MP race when she lost the elections.

She appreciated the residents for voting for her and said she would still work with the MP whenever he reached out for help. The gathering was entertained by the Zombodze Emuva MP, who took to the stage and danced.

He was joined by the residents and later gave five people E50 each. MP Bhembe also pledged E500 to all entertainers who recited poems and sang.

The residents appreciated the event. They said they were hoping that they would interact with them throughout their term.

“We hope it is not the last day we see them,” said one resident.
