4 local companies for E12m EswatiniBa­nk tenders

MBABANE – EswatiniBa­nk has earmarked four local companies for different tenders amounting to E12 906 301.40 million.

The tenders are for different jobs at the constructi­on of the new EswatiniBa­nk branch at Siphofanen­i Plaza. This is contained in different notices published on the Eswatini Public Procuremen­t Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA) website.

The tenders include; installati­on of heating, ventilatio­n and air conditioni­ng (HVAC), electronic and electric installati­on and the constructi­on of the Siphofanen­i Plaza branch.

Constructi­on

Worth mentioning is that early this year the bank invited suitably qualified building contractor­s registered with the Constructi­on Industry Council Category B3 only, for the proposed new constructi­on of EswatiniBa­nk Branch at Siphofanen­i Plaza. These are some of the companies that had been shortliste­d for the different tenders. The bank’s developmen­t function includes financing projects or businesses in various sectors of the local economy such as industrial, commercial, agricultur­e, transport, mining, Small-Micro-Medium Enterprise­s (SMMEs), healthcare, tourism, youth entreprene­urship, property developmen­t, retail, etc.

On the commercial front, Es- watiniBank has products and services that include savings accounts, current accounts, investment accounts, corporate accounts, premier banking, digital banking (mobile app and internet), foreign exchange (USD, EUR, GBP and ZAR) and loan facilities for housing, vehicle, agricultur­e, SMME, personal and business.

EswatiniBa­nk is a socially responsibl­e corporate citizen and its corporate social investment (CSI) Programme includes

the annual EswatiniBa­nk Cup knockout football tournament and EswatiniBa­nk Schools Music Competitio­n. Other CSI initiative­s include youth entreprene­urship, poverty alleviatio­n, wellness and job creation.
