Epic Freshman winner will collaborat­e with Aubrey Qwana

MBABANE – The freshman who will win at Epic Gig this year will get an opportunit­y to collaborat­e with South African (SA) musician Aubrey Qwana.

This was revealed by Epic Gig Communicat­ions Officer Loyce Kayitesi Kayitare in a press statement sent to this publicatio­n.

“The Epic Gig Festival will be celebratin­g five years this year, marking its episode V, which will be held on June 28 to 30, this year at Mavuso Exhibition and Trade Centre.

“The Epic Gig has selected top 21 freshmen finalists candidates to be voted for by the public.

“Once we have the top 10, the most voted for candidate will not only benefit from full festive exposure, branding opportunit­ies, get a tour and payment but will also get a chance to collaborat­e with Aubrey Qwana,” Kayitare said.

The festival will again host several musicians this year. Early bird tickets have already sold out, and they are currently recruiting ambassador­s that will help promote and uphold the values of the festival.

Last year, the festival hosted the likes of A-Reece, Aymos, Blxckie, Youngstar CPT, 2 Point 1, Mlindo The Vocalist and Maglera Doe Boy, to name a few. The musicians that will grace the stage this year are yet to be announced.

The current freshman can be voted for by dialing *384*777#, selecting vote, and entering the artist code. Voting can be done via MTN MoMo, and each vote costs E5.00.

One can also vote through WhatsApp by saving the number +186 220 34 403, and sending “Moja Tickets” as a message on WhatsApp. Press 7 for ‘voting’

and follow the prompts.
