SHOUT out to all loyal Gcwala readers out there! Taking your precious time to read this copy gives us the motivation and strength to go beyond our limits in compiling fresh and captivating content. Every week-day, I spend at least two hours planning what to serve, and looking at what you guys would want to read in Gcwala. With these words, I would like to thank all of you for your support and for actually spending your money just to read this pullout. To change the tone, I would like to introduce you to the goodies we have in today’s edition. On the cover, we have Miss Cultural Heritage Manzini Region winner Nowethu Motsa. If you read the profile, you will learn how she survived a car accident, which almost deprived her of her confidence. You will also get to learn about her recent collaboration with Oukitel, which is a newlyintroduced smartphone brand in the kingdom. We also had funbox questions for her and if you read through, you will get to find out her favourite local musician. We also have a fresh edition of ‘Gcwala Quiz’ where we featured Thandiswa Maziya, who is an upcoming influencer. On this vibrant quiz, she gets to reveal her favourite local musician and why she loves the musician. Make sure you read because this young, energetic jewel may have a crush on your favourite musician too. Moving forward, we also compiled a short read about an awardwinning photographer by the name of Malangeni Dlamini, popularly known as Deelangza. He recently opened a studio in Matsapha, and if you are looking to get inspired, make sure you read about him. Moreover, we have a fresh edition of ‘Photographers Court’ where we feature a young and hardworking photographer by the name of Boyzie. In this feature, he gets to answer all the questions that you have always wanted to ask photographers. This includes how he gets to deal with private photoshoots and how he is able to observe discipline when working with female clients. Make sure you don’t miss this feature. We then shut the door with a lustrous wedding spread. The wedding was celebrated by Siphelele Mkhabela and Mlungisi Gamedze on December 16. They actually met while at church, and if you read the brief writeup we compiled for the pictures, you will get to learn how they transitioned from being churchmates to lovers. Make sure you read everything and enjoy the busy weekend.
