Correctional teams remain unbeaten
MBABANE – Action returned over the weekend for A Division Volleyball teams, with the MulaSport series 4 setting in motion at the OlympAfrica Volleyball Courts in Lobamba.
The recent Eswatini National Volleyball Association (ENVA) MulaSport Series 4 showcased exhilarating performances and fierce competition across various groups. In Group A of the female’s category, Scorpions dominated the court with a series of impressive 2-0 victories, while Correctional exhibited their prowess with convincing wins against Phoenix and RES. Scorpions were off to a great start when they went up against Phoenix in their first encounter, which produced a 2-0 victory in the best of three sets for Scorpions.
They continued their performance against RES, which they also gave a convincing thrashing as they managed to get both sets without a response from the Mhlume-based club.

Juggernauts of the ENVA MulaSport series, Correctional Sunrise started their campaign against RES, which fell to a two set loss to Correctional.
Next on Correctional’s chopping block was Phoenix, which could not rise above the challenge presented by the green and white side. To seal off an unbeaten run in Group A of the female’s category, Correctional went up against the second best team in the group, Scorpions, which they beat two sets to none.
Furthermore in Group B of the female category witnessed Zakhele’s commanding 2-0 triumphs, and REPS’
commendable performances against formidable opponents, including the resilient Bob Ladies. Zakhele went up against Ace Angeles in their first encounter, which resulted in a 2-0 victory for them, where they also repeated the same result against Bob Ladies and only losing to REPS.

Bob Ladies and proved to be quite the team to beat when they went up against Ace Angels. The encounter produced a single set for Ace Angels, while Bob Ladies managed two sets to emerge victorious.
Meanwhile, in the male category, Group A witnessed intense clashes, with Correctional and Bob Cats engaging in closely contested matches, resulting in a win for Correctional and a hard-fought victory for Bob Cats against Olympia. Group B displayed the prowess of REPS, securing consecutive 2-0 victories, while RES demonstrated their tenacity with a hard-earned win against UNESWA.
