MBABANE – Congratulations are in order.

The Eswatini National Volleyball Association (ENVA) executive has extended congratulations to the Correctional Sunrise Male Volleyball Team for their remarkable triumph in securing the prestigious Best Team Category Award at the Eswatini National Sports Awards. This significant accolade, not only signifies a momentous achievement for the team, but also holds substantial importance for the development and recognition of volleyball within the nation.

“This award means a lot to our sport, and we are proud of Correctional Sunrise for achieving it,” the executive expressed to the green and white side.

The executive further expressed this to stakeholders and sponsors, who have played a vital role in shaping volleyball locally.

“We express gratitude to all our stakeholders, including our governing bodies, the Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council (ESRC) and the Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA), not forgetting sponsors for the continued support that they give to improve volleyball. To Correctional Sunrise, as you bask in the glory of this award, do not forget to keep working hard to keep up the good work,” further cited the congratulatory message.

Accolade

The ENVA also encouraged Correctional Sunrise to view this accolade as a reinforcement of their dedication and urges them to persist in their pursuit of excellence. Correctional Sunrise Male’s recent triumph was in MulaSport Series 4, which set in motion last weekend at the OlympAfrica Volleyball Courts in Lobamba. They are in Group A of the Series 4, with the likes of Olympia and Bob Cats, both of which lost to Correctional Sunrise 2-0 and 2-1, respectively.

“This recognition stands as a testament to their relentless efforts, and the association looks forward to witnessing their continued contributions to the sport,” they added.
