Miss Teen Hhohho auditions this weekend
MBABANE - The long-overdue wait for the beauty pageant for teen girls in the Hhohho Region is finally over, as this weekend will mark the auditions for the first -ever Miss Teen Hhohho.
The pageant has has been ongoing for \ears now in other regions, including the 0an]ini 5egion, and the organisers have seen it fit that it also debut in the +hohho 5egion. 0an\ \oung girls
Moin beaut\ pageants to boost their self-esteem and mark their breakthroughs in the industr\, which the\ believe will open man\ doors for them. 6uch pageants also help \oung girls live positivel\, and the\ usuall\ gain more self-confidence. The pageant is meant to empower \oung girls who want to take their place in the world. Different speakers will be invited to empower the girls through selflove, mental health, financial independence, and man\ more.
REQUIREMENTS
2ne of the reTuirements that were posted b\ the pageant organisers is that, the girls have to be 6wa]i and attend school in the +hohho 5egion. 2nl\ girls between the ages of and , are eligible to audition for the pageant. The organisers also included that those willing to audition for the pageant should carr\ one full bod\ photo and one close-up photo from head to shoulders. The girls who are interested in auditioning for 0iss Teen +hohho should carr\ a Moining fee of ( and it will take place at +hohho $rts &entre in 3iggs 3eak and 0babane Theatre &lub.
4ueen &haka, who is the Director of 3ageants (swatini in the +hohho region, said that the need for such pageants is to make sure that all 6wati girls participate in pageants, and the\ should know that it’s not limited to those that onl\ sta\ closer to town hence, the arts and culture came up with the idea of opening centres in all regions. The mandate is to recruit for all national pageants from the regional pageants.
