... European Union sponsors with solar panels
- The upcoming JeremPaul Lifestlye Centre at Vuvulane will be 100 per cent powered by clean energy, thanks to the sponsorship by the European Union (EU) Delegation to Eswatini.

European Union Delegation The Ambassador to Eswatini Dessislava Choumelova said the EU supported Khulekani Msweli with solar panels because he had a vision to contribute back to the society, especially in Vuvulane, where he hails from.
She also said they also supported with the centre to have access to water they will keep collaborating with him. Choumelova said Msweli was talented.

Msweli said he appreciated the support that he got from the EU.
Meanwhile, Choumelova said the EU would support the country so that it can reach the level where creative arts are seen as a contributor to job creation and development.
She said the EU member countries achieved this by not only holding on to their own cultures, identities, languages, music and dance but also by paying attention to the creative industry.

“Culture and art are also the creative industry, the big driver for economic growth, job creation and development.
“This is where we want to help the country as good partners in order for the country to see the creative sector as an industry and a sector that brings employment in the country,” she said.
The ambassador said Msweli did not just show an idea of growing himself, but a whole community and shows that he wants to give back to the community by creating jobs.

The ambassador said among support for the arts, they have partnered with Antidote Foundation, whereby they donated with a music recording studio.
She also said the partnership led to the training of musicians and DJs, pod casters and sound recorders.
“Now we have donated the studio to government, but the idea is to help develop the skills in the creative industry.
“This will make sure that they are seen as a way to grow the economy, provide jobs for the youth and to develop the country,” the ambassador said.
