Moreover I like the fusion of A-reece’s unique style on how he explains he sings the song, especially the part which says ‘when everyone doubted I bet on myself ’. song’s meaningful lyrics draw me into a state of deep emotional connection. For me it’s the part which says ‘God gives and he takes’, it makes me understand that nothing lasts forever, moreover everything happens for a reason.
A-REECE – MEANWHILE IN HONEYDEW
This song explores themes of success, confidence and staying true to oneself in the face of adversity. There’s a lot that I learn when listening to this song. Firstly it’s having confidence about yourself, for people to take you serious, you need to be confident about who you are. Secondly, staying true to yourself, if you don’t stay true to yourself, no one will take you seriously. Maturity starts when you start knowing yourself and who you are and what’s best for you and start doing what’s right. A-Reece teaches me the importance of having confidence towards yourself and knowing what’s best me.
NICKI MINAJ – YOU THE BOSS
The lyrics talk about the desire for women who is a boss, someone who is in control and can provide the things he needs. Rick Ross teaches men how to treat their girlfriends, that they should provide them everything they need. He says ‘every girls needs a boss who provides her with everything she needs’.
The song is meaningful and the melody of the band is so sweet.
NICKI MINAJ – PILLS AND PORTIONS
Nicky says, ‘people will love you and support you when it’s beneficial’. I like the fact that this song makes sense. She wanted everyone to know that people won’t just support or love you, they will only do that when it’s beneficial. If they won’t get anything from that, they will not help you. According to my understanding she was trying to make us understand that people will love you and support you when it’s beneficial to them.
