Epic Gig releases freshman leader board
MBABANE – The Epic Gig has released their recent leaderboard for the freshman stage, where the winner is set to collaborate with South African musician Au
brey Qwana.
The leaderboard was released on Tuesday and some of the musicians who made it into the top five include Kaii Rules, Parkman, SoulStick, DJ Mshayi and
Sancheziey.
Voting for the freshman is still ongoing and it is set to close on April 20. The winner of the freshman stage will be given a golden opportunity of collaborating with South African award-winning musician Aubrey 4wana.
Exhibition
This was revealed by Epic Gig Communications Officer Loyce Kayitesi Kayitare, who highlighted that this year the Epic Gig Festival will be celebrating five years, marking its Episode V, which will be held on June 28 to 30 this year, at Mavuso Exhibition and Trade Centre.
“The Epic Gig has selected the top 21 freshman finalists’ to be voted for by the public.
Once we have the top 10, the most voted for candidate will not only benefit from full festive exposure, branding opportunities, get a tour and payment as well, but will also get a chance to collaborate with Aubrey 4wana,” Kayitare said.
The festival will again host several musicians this year. Early bird tickets have already sold out. Last year, the festival hosted the likes of A-Reece, Aymos, Blxckie, Youngstar CPT, 2 Point 1, Mlindo The Vocalist and Maglera Doe Boy, to name a few.
The current freshman can be voted for by dialing selecting vote, and entering the artist code.
Voting can be done via MTN MoMo, and each vote costs E5.
One can also vote through WhatsApp by saving the number
