Fasil sacked Negash while Legetafo appoint Zemariam

-

Ethiopian Premier League former champions Fasl Ketema sacked Hailu Negash less than a full season at the hot seat. Bottom of the table Legetafo Legedadi kicked out Tilahun, the man who led them into promotion to bring in much travelled Zemariam W/giorgis.

Five consecutive matches without a win, famous for his wild goal celebrations and spending tens of millions Birr in transfer window Fasil’s boss Negash have nothing to confront his adversaries except leaving the hot seat quietly to whomever comes replacing him. Four wins, five draws and four defeats “The Emperors” are down to 10th place with just 17 points from 13 matches.

Unlikely to resurface soon among other top tier coaches, Negash is rumored to pack home pocketing huge compensation payments for his remaining contracts. In the meantime newly promoted side Legetafo called in Zemariam W/giorgis

from home to hand him the reins at relegation strugglers Legetafo-legedadi. Though Tilahun led Legetafo In to promotion last season, he failed to build a competitive side with a single win and three draws in thirteen matches. Scoring only ten goals while conceding the highest in the table 32 goals, Legetafo is camping bottom of the table with just six points. Despite being booted out of Diredawa for endangering the side into relegation last season, Zemariam resurfaced a savior this time shouldering the responsibility of turning around the bad omen fallen on Legetafo.

Former Coach Tilahun is now demoted to assistance and according to sources the club promised Zemariam to sign big name players including foreigners.
