Australian Education Roadshow opens today
Suva:
The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is delighted to host the annual Australia Future Unlimited Fiji Education Roadshow in Suva and Nadi this week from April 5-7.
Now in its 10th year, the education roadshow is a golden opportunity for Fijian students to learn about study options in Australia or studies that may complement their current study program in partnership with Australian education institutions. Trade Commissioner Pacific for Austrade, Adrian Weeks, said “Students today are interested in being part of global education opportunities. This makes student mobility, which allows students to study at home and abroad to gain international experience, is an increasingly important dimension.” Australian High Commissioner Margaret Twomey concurs saying the networking of Australian educated alumni was an important part of economic diplomacy. “Strengthening engagement and building networks of Australian-educated alumni is an important part of our economic diplomacy,” Ms Twomey said.
