FIA Congress: How to minimise fraud losses to achieve stronger economic growth

Rachael Mah will be one of the speakers at the 44th Fiji Institute of Congress at Denarau next week, doing a presentati­on on how to minimise fraud losses to achieve stronger economic growth. Ms Mah is the Managing Director and Principal Trainer in AusAsia Training Institute, based in Melbourne, Australia. It is a training and consulting firm that provides internal auditing, fraud risk management and cross-cultural communicat­ion skills services for medium to large businesses globally.

The theme for this year’s congress is “Towards a brighter Fiji” and there will be more than nine internatio­nal speakers. Ms Mah is an Asia Pacific Consultant, Coach and Specialist Trainer with Internal Audit and

Risk Management experience at Multinatio­nal Firms on four continents i.e. Australia, Asia, US and UK for more than 28 years.

Later, she establishe­d her current AusAsia Institute in Melbourne in 2009 that serves training and consulting clients in diverse industries across Australasi­a, Asia Pacific, Middle East, US and UK.

Since 2013-14, AusAsia institute has expanded their suite of services which include consulting and training services that helps Western businesses to build highly effective engagement with Asian businesses. During her extensive corporate career, Ms Mah served as the link between Western and Asian businesses, dissolving misunderst­andings and bridging difference­s in cultural and work practices.
