Miss World Fiji 2016 will be crowned on May 7 at GPH
The province of Naitasiri will be well represented at this year’s Miss World Fiji finals, when all eyes will be on dusky beauty, Vani Dakunivecena.

Originally from Naitasiri, the 22-year-old school teacher enjoys listening to music, travelling and playing netball.
“I also love to keep fit as this helps me focus and be more active. I am also passionate about helping others and would like to make a difference in someone’s life” she said. The former Vashist Muni College beauty also plans to further her studies and graduate with a master’s in Education. “Teaching is a noble profession and for me, being surrounded by children every day is a real blessing,” she said. She considers her parents as her role models and acknowledges them as the reason as to what she is today. Ms Dakunivecena is one of the 10 finalists vying for the chance to become the new Miss World Fiji.
Miss World Fiji 2016 will be crowned on May 7 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva and will represent Fiji at the 66th Miss World contest later in the year.
