Vishnu Mo­han Bids Good­bye to ANZ Fam­ily

But says he will con­tinue as chair of the PSC for the time be­ing

Out­go­ing ANZ Pa­cific and Fiji chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Vishnu Mo­han said good­bye to his ANZ Bank fam­ily in Fiji yes­ter­day. Mr Mo­han has been the chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer based here for the last four years and has en­joyed his stay in Fiji. He said he would con­tinue in his po­si­tion of chair­man of the Pub­lic Ser­vice Com­mis­sion for the time be­ing.

He said: “I think for the time be­ing I will be­cause of the re­forms that are hap­pen­ing and I have made some ap­point­ments re­cently so I have been asked by the Min­is­ter so I will stay for now and the im- me­di­ate fu­ture.

“We love the coun­try; it’s a great coun­try; very peace­ful with a lot of prospects; it’s a coun­try of warmth and friendly peo­ple; We love Fiji,” Mr Mo­han said. Mr Mo­han is mar­ried to Bubby Mo­han and they have two grownup sons and re­cently be­came grand­par­ents to their first grand­child, three-week-old Niya, cur­rently liv­ing with her par­ents in Mum­bai, In­dia. The for­mer CEO plans to visit his grand­daugh­ter in Mum­bai, and make trips to Malaysia be­fore go­ing to his home town in Toronto, Canada.

“I plan to do a lit­tle bit of trav­el­ling as we have had our first grand­daugh­ter in Mum­bai; we are go­ing to visit her and spend time with her for a month. “We have a home in Malaysia where we will spend three weeks be­fore com­ing back to Fiji in the last week of June for 10 days.”
