where her aunt Karalaini Kubulau now resides with young Lusiana. Her body parts were found by police on Tuesday afternoon stuffed in a garbage bag in a flat rented by the suspect. The suspect allegedly burned himself on Monday sometime before midday while allegedly trying to dispose of Susana’s body. His neighbour Chandar Kishore, 60, took him to hospital. Susana raised by her aunt, Mrs Kubulau, last saw her niece when they had made plans to spend Mother’s Day together. It did not happen. Mrs Kubulau said her niece and her alleged killer visited them on Saturday in a rental car and took them to Tavua to visit another of her (Mrs Kubulau) sister. “We had planned to spend Mother’s Day together on Sunday,” she said. “When we arrived in Tavua, Susana said she was not going to stay and returned with the suspect to Ba.” She said on Sunday, the suspect returned by himself to Tavua and brought some soft drinks, foodstuff and gave money to her and her sister. “I asked him where Susana was and he said she had gone somewhere.” He then left and it was not until the Police arrived at the Hart Home on Tuesday that she learned Susana was allegedly murdered. Mrs Kubulau said she was still in shock and it was heartbreaking that Lusiana still did not understand what had happened. She had asked about her mother. Suspect’s neighbour, Mr Kishore said on Tuesday the Police arrived and he was told Susana’s body parts were found stuffed in the garbage bag and left in the house. Mr Kishore said the incident had shocked the street they were staying in adding that nothing like this ever happened. “We hardly ever saw the girl and even the boy never talked to anyone,” Mr Kishore said.
