Ports rugby revival

Fijian Ports Terminal rugby team received new uniforms to boost their performance in the Suva Rugby Union weekly competition.

Team manager Anare Tuidraki said they target to win the Koroturaga Grade in the SRU competition. “We revived this rugby club in the last two months,” Tuidraki said yesterday. “It followed the request from our chief executive officer, Hasthika Dela.

“We’ve played five games so far, lost three and won two.” As a former Ports Terminal rugby captain, Tuidraki said the team was fortunate. “During our time, we don’t have proper training and uniform,” he said. Ports Terminal meets Covenant Red at Bidesi Park at 9am tomorrow.
