High profile Chinese media to promote Fiji

Thirteen high profile Chinese media personnel will be arriving to our shore today for a ten day familiarisation tour in Fiji. This is just another optimistic move and a big boost for Fijian tourism since there is a move to tap into China as one of the many key emerging markets for the country. Nadi based in-bound tour operator, Tour Managers, will be facilitating the visit. Tour Managers managing director, Damend Gounder, said: “Chinese are very adventurous travellers and big spenders at the same time and we at Tour Managers are working tirelessly to tap into this market. “The media personnel who will be on a familiarisation trip around the country will have a lot of good stories to tell their big base of followers in China and across the globe.”
